Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

Yes, you read that right. Avocado in a smoothie. It makes it creamy and it adds a healthy fat to keep full and satisfied longer. Don't knock it til' you try it!



INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup avocado (about 1/4 of an avocado)

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 banana (optional)

  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds (optional)

  • 1 cup spinach or kale (optional

  • 1/2 cup water OR 1/2 cup almond/oat milk

  • Ice as needed


DIRECTIONS


Blend all ingredients for 1-2 minutes and enjoy!
