INGREDIENTS
*Fresh or frozen string beans
*3 cloves garlic, chopped
*1 tbsp. olive oil
*2 tsp. sesame oil
*1 tsp. red pepper flakes
*Salt, to taste
*1 tbsp. soy sauce or balsamic vinegar
DIRECTIONS:
If you are using fresh string beans, wash them and cut off ends. If you are using frozen string beans, place in colander and pour boiling water over them to defrost.
Heat olive oil in pan over high heat. Add string beans and red pepper flakes.
Saute for 5 minutes and add garlic, sesame oil and salt. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes until string beans start to brown.
Add soy sauce or balsamic vinegar, saute for another 1-2 minutes and remove from heat.
